So every night after I pick up the kids from daycare, I call Brian on the way home and we discuss dinner and how the kids' days were. The other night we were driving home and Nathan was being loud, screeching and what not. I put Brian on speaker phone so Nathan could talk to him too.
Nathan has not ever really talked on the phone so he was pretty interested in the whole concept. He started off just saying "Hi Daddy!" as loudly as he could over and over again. Brian was chuckling and saying hello back. Suddenly Nathan gets quiet and you can tell he's really thinking over something. He points to the phone and says "Daddy!" and I say "Yes, we're talking to Daddy." He points again and says "Daddy in phone!" Brian and I both started laughing. Nathan was pretty proud that he had figured it out and started saying "Daddy in Phone" over and over again.
Then he says "Daddy Get Out!" The mind of a 2 year old. :)
